Heating.
Furnaces, boilers and heat pumps: repair, replacement and right-sized installs.
What to Expect
A repair, a new system and a care plan are very different experiences. Pick the one you are thinking about and I will tell you what to expect, step by step, from my side of the work to yours.
Each page below is written to you, from me, and follows the same order: what helps before we start, how the work goes, what you will notice, the choices that are yours and what you receive at the end. Choose the one closest to your situation. This page also shows how all of the work fits together and what quality means here.
Choose a Service
Each page is written to you, from me.
Furnaces, boilers and heat pumps: repair, replacement and right-sized installs.
Air conditioning and heat pump cooling that manages humidity, not just temperature.
Find out how your home or building really performs, then choose what to do about it: repair, upgrade, replace, or nothing at all.
ACCA Manual J, S & D: room-by-room loads, equipment selection and duct design before anything is bought.
New homes and new commercial buildings: the system designed with the plans, installed on schedule and verified.
Service on existing equipment, any brand. Honest diagnosis first, repair second.
Small offices, retail and workshops, designed, installed and maintained by the same person.
A fixed yearly plan for the seasonal care of your existing system, so it is looked after before it needs help.
How It All Fits Together
Some people call once, for one thing. Many come back. Every part of the work is connected, and you decide how far to go and how fast.
You Choose
Time, Money and the Result.
A conversation and a close look at how your home or building really performs today.
You are shown your options and what each one costs in time, money and result. Then you choose.
Repair what is worth repairing. Upgrade what will help. Replace or design a new system only when it is truly the right answer. Or do nothing, if nothing is needed.
The result is measured, so the work is proven rather than assumed.
Seasonal care keeps it healthy, so small things are caught early and the system lasts.
The Standard
Quality is more than a good install. It shows up in five places, and David holds himself to all of them.
Every room warm in winter and cool in summer, quiet and even, with the humidity right. The test is not a number on a thermostat. It is how the home feels at three on a July afternoon and at seven on a January morning.
Equipment that is sized, installed and cared for properly lasts. With the yearly care David offers, a system can serve a home for longer before it needs replacing. He will not give you a number, because it depends on the equipment and the home. He will tell you honestly what keeps yours healthy.
From the first call to the last visit: on time, clear, careful with your home, and mindful of the people living in it. Work that disrupts a household is planned around that household.
Every decision, from the equipment to the size to what to repair and what to leave alone, is made with the facts on the table and the trade-offs explained. It is a choice you made, not one made for you.
A good job leaves you confident. You understand what was done and why, you know what to do next, and you would be glad to call again.
It Is an Emergency Right Now
No heat, no cooling, or something that feels unsafe. Call any hour, and here is what happens.
Call or send a note and describe what is happening. I will tell you honestly where to start.
